About the Program

This zoom workshop covers the basics of Individual, Cultural, and Social Group Identities; the ways in which our brains make assumptions; and systemic privilege. Participants will acquire tools for understanding and interacting with people from different cultural and social group identities. This workshop is a participatory learning environment where all attendees are expected to share, listen and contribute.

  • April 25, 6:00-8:00p ET (Optional discussion/Q&A session from 8:00-8:30p)
  • May 2, 6:00-8:00p ET (Optional discussion/Q&A sessions 5:30-6:00p and 8:00-8:30p)

Registration Deadline is April 20, 2021.

This workshop is limited to 28 participants. Current NES Board members and DEI Committee members will be automatically enrolled. All other registrations will be placed on a waiting list and informed of their registration status as space allows.
